What is the difference between Newborn/New Parents session and a Family session?

Both are considered "family sessions". The biggest difference is the number of family members. A newborn/new parent session is for a family of three. Once a second child is added or the family is larger than three, it becomes priced as a full family session. If you have a large family, we can still absolutely turn a full family session package into a newborn focused photoshoot to capture those little memories!

Do you Travel?

I get asked this one a lot - and the answer is a resounding YES! I love going wherever you need me, and I have experience in a wide range of locations, lighting, landscapes, and venues. If you have any questions about the cost of travel, reach out - let's talk!

How many photos do we get?

The number of guaranteed photos you receive depends on the session you book. Head over the the "Experience" page to learn more! That being said, I tend to send as many photos as work out - I'm not about to let you miss out on good moments if I can help it.

How do we get our photos?

I deliver the fully edited photos through a curated digital gallery service. You'll have all of your photos available to download in both Print (high) and Web Sized resolutions to fit all of your sharing needs.

What should we wear?

What you wear can depend on the feeling and location you want for your session. Generally, I recommend earthy, pastel, or neutral tones and to avoid intense patterns! If you need help picking out outfits, let me know. I'd love to help!

What's your turn around time?

For single sessions such as bridals, engagements, and individual portraits, my typical turn around time is 4-6 weeks. Weddings may take up to 8-10 weeks. However, these deadlines are based off of influx and demand, and I often send galleries out as quickly as possible. It's exciting to get your photos back, and I don't want you to have to wait! If photos are needed sooner than the above timeframes, there is an option for expediting a gallery.

How do we book you?

I try to make the process of finding and booking a photographer as easy as possible. Head over to the contact page, fill out the form, and I'll reach out to you to set up quick phone or video call to answer any questions you have. If you decide you'd like to move forward, I'll get you into my schedule!

Can you help us with planning?

I can absolutely help with planning! I've had extensive experience with timelines long and short, and I've been around the block with weddings of all shapes and sizes. Anything I don't know, I'll help you figure out. Ultimately I am here to make your life a little easier.

Do you do branding sessions?

Yes! And I would love to work together! My branding sessions start at $250 and may increase depending on your needs. Reach out and let's chat!

How long have you been doing this?

I've been doing wedding and portrait photography for nearly five years now. It's been a wild adventure, and I can't wait to see where the next years take me.

How far out do you book?

The latest I will typically book a wedding is a month in advance. There can be exceptions made, so please don't hesitate to reach out even if you're pulling something together last minute. I am always open to sessions with at least one week's notice.
Currently, I'm booking out as far as 2026, so if you are hoping to get on the calendar, don't wait! Dates fill up quickly!

Do you retouch photos?

I spend a lot of time working the details of a photo - removing distractions, taking out unwanted people in the background, and performing basic skin or clothing touch ups for stains or mild acne. I want you to look your best! However, I do not photoshop or do major modifications to body types/shapes. I firmly believe that everyone is beautiful, and I work hard to pose and direct people within the shoot so that they feel as confident as possible.
